Day 42 : 22/10/2013 - Pedraforca, the Catalan Fizt Roy

I'm pleasant to introduce you the most emblematic mountain in Catalonia. With their two summits it hypnotize you at the moment you see it, it's an unforgettable sensation driving into the road to Saldes and find it after a left curve having passed Vallcebre.


It's not too difficult to reach Pedraforca from Berga. You should continue to the north following the signs to Puigcerdà and Tunel del Cadi and before to arrive to Guardiola de Bergueda you have to turn on the left and take the B-400 road.

This road is a scenic route between mountains and cliffs until you reach in your eyes the beauty of Saldes and Pedraforca above.
