Sant Climent de Taüll is located in Taüll, a village inside the Vall de Boí in Alta Ribagorça shire and it is the largest, undoubtedly the most well preserved, and has the most outstanding architecture out of all the churches in the Valley.
The exact date of construction is unknown however the church was consecrated on December 10, 1123. Sant Climent de Taüll is a Romanesque style church greatly influenced by
the Lombard style, which can be seen through its exterior decoration.
What could I do to admire this fantastic building? Leaving Pont de Suert to the North take L-500 road on the right and climb up to Boí town, then continue 2 kilometers before reach Taüll and the church just entering the town.
